Tangier has close to a million inhabitants and is undoubtedly a multicultural city and is divided into three parts: the Medina, the coastal part and the new city.
The medina emphasizes multicultural influences with its narrow streets alternating with wide spaces such as the Plaza del 9 de abril or the Jardín de Mendoubia.
The first population settlements date back to the Paleolithic, Tangier has been the center of inspiration for generations of artists during the colonial era.
Arranged in the shape of an amphitheater in the Strait of Gibraltar, it overlooks the Mediterranean and the Atlantic and its location, its history and its tourist offer make it a privileged international destination.
We leave early in the morning to reach the port of Tarifa where we board the ferry in the direction of Tangier, Morocco.
Once we arrive in Morocco we will be greeted by our local guide who will accompany us on a panoramic tour to see the most emblematic places around Tangier.
We will visit some points of interest such as the famous Hercules Caves. We look out over the Atlantic coast, where we will make a brief stop to see some camels, the most emblematic animal of Morocco and where we will have the opportunity to take a short ride on the back of this animal.
Once the panoramic view is over, we will arrive at the center of the city of Tangier and will take a magnificent walk to get to know this multicultural city in depth, where Muslim, Jewish and Christian communities live, It is also attractive for artists from all over the world.
We will have lunch in a typical Moroccan restaurant thus tasting its fabulous gastronomy, in which dishes such as Cous Cous or Tahini stand out.
After this gastronomic stop, we will continue to enjoy our visit, getting to know more corners of this city, always between the culture of North Africa and Europe.
We will visit some of the numerous shops and we will stroll through its streets full of scents and colours.
The visit will end by arriving back at the Port of Tangier to take the ferry back to Tarifa and then arrive in Seville after having enjoyed an unforgettable excursion.
