Tangier is the gateway to the African continent, the second largest city in Morocco after Casablanca and a modern metropolis.
It has about a million inhabitants and is, without a doubt, a multicultural city and is divided into three parts: the Medina, the coastal part and the new city.
The medina emphasizes multicultural influences with its narrow streets alternating with wide spaces such as the 9 de Abril Square or the Mendoubia Garden.
The first settlements of population date back to the Paleolithic, Tangier has been the center of inspiration for generations of artists during the colonial era.
Arranged in the form of an amphitheater in the Strait of Gibraltar, it overlooks the Mediterranean and the Atlantic and its location, history and touristic offer make it a privileged international destination.
We will depart early in the morning to arrive at the port of Tarifa where we will board on the ferry direction Tangier, Morocco.
Once we arrive in Morocco, our local guide will welcome us and accompany us on a panoramic tour to see the most emblematic places around Tangier.
We will visit some points of interest such as the famous Caves of Hercules. We will look out onto the Atlantic coast, where we will make a brief stop to see some camels, the most emblematic animal in Morocco and where we will have the opportunity to take a short ride on the back of this beautiful animal.
Once the panoramic view is over, we will arrive at the city center of Tangier and take a magnificent walk to get to know this multicultural city in depth where Muslim, Jewish and Christian communities live.
We will have lunch in a typical Moroccan restaurant, tasting its fabulous gastronomy, in which dishes such as the Cous Cous or the Tahini stand out.
After this gastronomic stop we will continue to enjoy our visit knowing more corners of this city always between the culture of North Africa and the European one.
We will visit some of the many shops and stroll through its streets full of smells and colors.
The visit will end arriving again at the Port of Tangier to take the ferry back to Tarifa and then to Seville after having enjoyed an unforgettable excursion.
