Cordoba is one of the major cities of Andalusia and is an incredible fusion of cultures: Christian, Jewish and Muslim. Capital of the Betica province of the Roman Empire and then of Al Andalus during the Muslim domination, Cordoba owns an invaluable artistic and historical heritage and its old town was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Stroll through its narrow streets where you can see its flowering and scented courtyards, sample the cuisine of its renowned gastronomy are unique and unforgettable experiences. It was the birthplace of philosophers like Seneca, poets such as Lucan and many Flamenco artists. Its Cathedral Mosque is a unique work of art and the narrow streets of its Jewish quarter evoke the atmosphere of the Muslim Cordoba in the ancient times.
