ALHAMBRA

Of all the attractions in this city the one that stands out is the Alhambra, an imposing hilltop fortress covering 140,000 square meters. This unique structure is divided into three parts: the Nasrid Palaces, the battlements or Alcazaba and the gardens.

ALBAICIN

Declared a World Heritage Site in 1984, the Albaicín stands on a hill and is known as the "quarter of the falconers" or "quarter of the Moors". You can enjoy spectacular views from here.

CATHEDRAL

Built in the city's heart, the Cathedral  is one of the finest examples of Spanish-style Renaissance architecture, built on a Gothic base. Inside, you can admire numerous paintings, sculptures and impressive stained-glass windows.

SACROMONTE

It is one of the most picturesque and multi-ethnic neighborhoods . At the Centro de Interpretación del Sacromonte, a popular open-air museum, you can attend musical performances, art, folk traditions, flamenco shows, food and much more.

WHEN TO VISIT

Spring and autumn are the best seasons to visit Granada. In particular, April and September are highly recommended. No sweltering heat, just sunny days and temperatures around 23-25 °C.
