Built by the Romans in the first century BC, this great bridge joined the two banks of the Guadalquivir for more than twenty centuries. In 2014, the Roman Bridge was chosen as the setting for some "Game of Thrones" scenes.

ALCAZAR OF THE CHRISTIAN KINGS

The ancient fortress was the royal court for 160 years after its construction by Alfonso XI in 1328. In this very place, Christopher Columbus met with Isabella, the Catholic, to organize the expedition that led to the discovery of America.

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the historic center of Cordoba is one of the largest in Europe: inside is the Roman Bridge, the Alcazar with its magnificent mosaics, the Caliphal baths and the Great Mosque.
